Mission Statement

To identify and promote the most scalable and economically beneficial solar technologies and work towards financing a massive scale solar infrastructure capable of producing, installing and maintaining enough solar power plants to provide for 80% of the worlds energy needs by 2040.

Company Goal

To accelerate the development and acceptance of clean technologies in order to mitigate the effects of climate change and create a sustainable and beautiful world for our future.

Introduction

We are a group of investors who strongly believe that solar power will be the cleanest and cheapest form of energy in the near future, and want to do all we can to make it happen as quickly as possible. Solar energy is clean, unobtrusive, and essentially unlimited. A 100 by 100 mile plot of solar power plants in a desert could generate enough power for the whole planet. The technology is currently reaching a cusp where it will very soon be cost-competitive with coal and nuclear power and will continue to decrease even lower after that. We plan to build a solar company based on the methodology outlined below that will provide a reliable ongoing ROI of at least 15-20%.

One of our major goals is to bring together as many solar companies as we can to create one super solar company that will be able to provide the best returns and monopolize on the economies of scale. There are currently more than 200 solar companies in the world all using government and investor dollars on similar or identical R&D. So much more could be accomplished so much quicker if we were to all work together sharing technologies and pooling our resources. The power crunch is a global problem and it should be handled on a global scale.

We’d also like to see the amalgamation of all the separate steps of creating solar power. Raw materials-> Solar Cells-> Solar Panels -> Solar Systems (with batteries, transformers and other electrical infrastructure). Each of these steps is often completed by entirely separate companies. Think of all the extra overhead involved with advertising costs, transportation of materials, contract negotiations and individual site inspections that could be reduced or eliminated if all the steps were performed by the same company. This would allow us to provide the end product to the end customer at a much lower rate.
